These fellowships provide time for artists to explore new avenues of creativity, grapple with new ideas to further advance their work, and strengthen existing talents.

We support a range of disciplines including; drawers, illustrators, painters, writers, printmakers, film makers, performance artists, multidisciplinary artists, curators, book makers, musicians and photographers digital. The residency provides housing and studio space to emerging and professional artists in a wide range of creative disciplines with specific equipment to support book artists, letterpress printers, printmakers, and writers.

We invite artists from a wide range of disciplines and mediums to apply for residencies of two to eight weeks during set residency periods throughout of the year. We offer substantial scholarships to students based on need.

The Sesame Workshop will select between seven and ten emerging writers who will each receive hands-on writing experience guided by Sesame Street veterans and other media industry leaders. Applicants may receive only two quarterly grants per fiscal year July 1- June Faculty appointments are not required.
